I am sorry to announce that due to insufficient amount of registrations, we have had to cancel this year’s soccer camp at Loch Raven Rec Council.  We will be holding another Christmas camp at NERRC as well as doing clinics for the smaller children at NERRC in the fall.

The groups will be determined on the first day of soccer camp – we can adjust accordingly based on registrations as well as skill.

We also will be holding a one-week, one hour per day clinic for the smaller children at the end of August like the one we did last year.  Details coming soon.

We are pleased to announce a 4-week mini-kickers clinic with Coach Javier starting June 5.  Cost is $40.00.  You can register online here on the site and bring a check with you, or print and fill out a registration form and mail it in to the Rec Center.

Our 2nd Annual August Camp for the 7-13 age group will be from August 9 through 13.  Cost $150.00 if you register before July 31.  Coach Gary will be in charge of the camp with assistance of Coach Keith, Javier, Paol and Frank.

The June indoor camp has been canceled because of the blizzard and because we do not want to do an indoor camp in July, which would have been our only option available to us.
Finally, we will also be holding a week-long mini-kickers “clinic” for 1 1/2 hours a day in August.  Details will be on the site as soon as we have secured a location.

Due to the various weather delays over the past couple of weeks, there have been significant changes in the start dates of all of our events, as follows:

Monday March clinic will now commence March 8 and run through April 5.

Wednesday March clinic will be at regularly scheduled March 3 start date.

Saturday clinic will now start Saturday April 10 (April 3 is Easter Saturday)

NERRC camp will now be Monday June 21 through June 25, 2010

I have updated all registration forms and will also e-mail everyone.

Thankfully, NERRC opened this morning, Wednesday, February 17, on time and we will have our final session of the Wednesday Soccer Clinic, including the pizza party, this afternoon.

We will be taking a break next week, but will commence the new Wednesday sessions on Wednesday, March 3.  Please re-register so that we get an accurate headc0unt for this session.

Unfortunately, Baltimore County has decided to close all of its facilities through Monday, February 15.

This means that the Pizza Parties, scheduled for this coming Monday have now been pushed back to February 22.

This also means that the start of the next session will commence on March 1 and run through March 29, 2010.  I have updated the registration page to reflect this.

Because of the snow, we had to push back the pizza party, which is the last week of the January/February session, to this particular week.

The February/March Monday sessions will now start on February 22, March 1 8 2010 instead of February 15. February 22

The March Wednesday session will commence as normal on March 3, 2010.

We might have to push back the start of the March 27, 2010 Saturday clinic, depending on what happens this Saturday.  If the leagues are canceled on Saturday, we will have to push back the  start of the Saturday clinics to April 3, 2010.

The Saturday session has been pushed back until April 10, 2010, due to the fact that April 3 is Easter Saturday.

There still will be a 5-week session.

Please be advised that NERRC follows Baltimore County School System as far as closings are concerned.  If the schools are closed, the facility is closed as well.

Due to the snow, Baltimore County Recreation and Parks facilities will be closed on Monday, February 8.  Monday’s clinics and pizza party will now be held next Monday, February 15, 2010.

The Monday session, scheduled to start on February 15, will now start on February 22. February 22, will now start on March 1.

For Wednesday, if the schools are closed (or closed early), the facility will be closed and the clinic postponed.  The make up clinic would then be Wednesday, February 17.
